Welcome to River Men—a fresh and exciting ministry of The River.
The best friends are made when you hang out with guys who share your values. The “River Men Team” is lead by a group of guys who are experiencing that and want to share it with others. Activities like serving, white water rafting, movie-going, learning about Christ and just hanging out are making a difference for guys who tend to live on the 9-5 treadmill. Our vision is to grow men in Christ and develop their leadership qualities by applying Biblical principles.

Slam Dunk!
Dribble, dribble, dribble, shoot! You may even want to pass and slam dunk too…well, if you can. Men, even if you can’t slam dunk, you can join us on Tuesday evenings in Brighton for some pick up basketball. This is a great way to keep in shape and hang with some other great guys! WILD GAME DINNER- RECAP
Hunter's Welcome was the sign that covered the entry to Mt. Brighton on March 20th as we kicked off the best Wild Game Dinner to date. What felt like a hunter's retreat in Northern Michigan proved to be a great night of food, fellowship and new faces. Attended by nearly 300 people this event served as a great opportunity to introduce over 100 guys from outside the River community to our Christ-inspired culture. Finally, we were blessed to be able to provide the Tony Semple Foundation with a check for more than $4200 to support terminal children with outdoor experiences as their final wishes.
