Christmas Joyride 2009
Attendees of the 5 River Joyride experiences, took in a “joyride” Christmas with visually, vibrant, multi media including a stick figure dancing on screen who got everyone out of their seats to join in a Christmas sequence which had the kids laughing at their parents as everyone joined in! A Shepherd’s story drama, reminded us of the real reason of “great of tidings of joy” as lead pastor Terry shared the true meaning behind the season. Real stories were shared of how Jesus can help bring joy to our everyday lives.
Easter 2010 at The River
“One Hero, One Mission,” shared unique art, music in an incredible way to tell Jesus’ story of the ultimate hero and his sacrifice. People that attended the 4 experiences entered a lobby filled with paintings and artists at work.
Upon entering the auditorium, the audience participated in the initial Stomp sequence with dynamic music and action with trashcans, brooms and even a cowbell! There was more to come, as quite unexpectedly comic book heroes artistically came to life as we were reminded heroes exist among us.
With vivid classical paintings of Jesus projected from ceiling to floor, narrators told His story, and then were reminded by lead pastor Terry Prisk what He really did for us and how it impacts us in our everyday lives today.
