Project: HIS Kids Celebrate the launch of a new ministry at the River
Our ministry mission: To assist families in acquiring the information and resources necessary to bring children into their loving homes and to equip any individual with a way in which they can serve the parentless. All of this, with the ultimate goal of helping children transition through childhood, gaining skills needed for adulthood and the understanding of what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ, while giving them the support of a Christ centered family.
Make plans to visit our table in the lobby on the 22nd to find out all the ways you can help!

Join the Women’s Team for a Canoe Trip/ Bonfire
- When: Friday, September 17th
- Time: 5 pm till Dark-thirty
- Where: Heavner Canoe Rental 2772 Garden Road, Milford, MI. 48381
- Details: 5 pm pizza and pop followed by nature walk, reflection time and a sunset paddle. Pick-up at Central Park and back to Heavner Canoe Rental for the bonfire.
- Cost: $19 per person – Sign up at the Women’s Team table in the lobby on Sunday
Welcome to a church wide journey that will ask "What is, Who is, and How do we connect with the Holy Spirit?" Young and old, rich and poor, pre-Christian, new Christian and mature Christian everyone has questions about the Holy Spirit. We’ve worked hard to make sure there is something to grab onto in this study no matter where you are in your spiritual walk (or maybe you would describe it as your spiritual run? hop? limp?). We hope you enjoy it and are challenged to dig deeper with God!
Our six week journey starts October 10th!

Missions Trips 2010
Guatemala Mission Trip
Consider this. There are 70,000 widows living in the mountain area of Chichicastenango as a result of civil ware strife. These widows and single moms struggle to provide basic needs for their children.
- When: August 28-September 4, 2010
- Why: To provide a feeding program to serve 1200 children and 250 widows weekly and to raise $4500+ to build 3-4 additional homes to provide shelter

Kenyan Mission
We are excited to return to Kenya to assist the Pokot tribe with their spiritual and medical needs.
