Growth Groups
What are Growth Groups?
Short-term groups are designed to help people LOCK arms with one another and grow in a specific area of the Christian life.
Growth Group Courses: The courses typically run anywhere from four to twelve weeks and are either weekly or biweekly.
Growth Group Seminars: The seminars are one day and are anywhere from three to six hours long.

Every Man’s Battle- Marc Whitted
Date/Time: Saturdays, starting January 9, 8:00-9:30 AM
Location: Fenton Panera Bread (3500 Owen Rd., Fenton, MI, 48430)
Duration: 8 weeks
Summary: This six week study by well known authors Stephen Arterburn & Fred Stoeker maps out a practical strategy to fight the battle EVERY man deals with (whether he realizes it or not): sexual temptation. The study is geared specifically toward married men, but singles are welcome to join. The book Every Man's Battle and workbook is required, and will be provided at a low cost. Class size is limited to 15 men, so sign up now!
Growing Kids God’s Way- Lindsay and DJ Gray
Date/Time: Sundays, starting January 24, 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: Trevor and Michelle Prisk's House in Highland
Duration: 6 week study
Summary: Preparation for the Toddler Years...Parenting Your Five to Eighteen Month Old. The second class from the Growing Kids God's Way series, this material focuses on the transition from babyhood to becoming a toddler. Great for parents looking for direction in parenting their young child. The 6-week study consists of a video lesson, reading, and discussion each week. Raising a Modern Day Knight- Ethan Hawker and Steve James
How will your son learn what it takes to be a man?

Raising a Modern Day Knight is a series that follows the book by Robert Lewis. This series will help you understand the critical issues that Dads must face in order to be an effective father. Some of he goals of the series include:
1. Discovering the key issues that separate fathers and sons.
2. Learning how to offer special manhood instructions you son can use throughout his life.
3. Communicating the definition of authentic manhood clearly - giving your son a compelling vision for life.

The Words of Jesus- a Study of the Gospels- Jim Jensen
