Winter Semester - Begins Jan. 22nd

Courageous - Movie and Men's Study

In the new film Courageous (from the makers of Fireproof), four law officers are confident and focused when standing up to the worst the streets have to offer. But leading their families at home in a God-honoring way? That takes courage.

Based on the highly anticipated movie, the Courageous Living Bible Study is a 64-page book used for four weeks by an individual in relation with the class leader's companion teaching DVD of Courageous film clips. It will guide the participant toward living more courageously in four key areas:

Responsibility: serving, protecting, and casting a vision for their family

Priorities: focusing on eternal things rather than what is temporary

Legacy: recognizing a father's potential impact as a godly role model

Faith: strengthening a father's identity in Christ, increasing in wisdom

  • Session 1 - Monday January 23rd
  • Session 2 - Wednesday February 1st
  • Session 3 - Monday February 6th
  • Session 4 - Wednesday February 15th
  • Session 5 - Monday February 20th
All meeting times are 6:30 - 8 pm at the Warehouse

Grief Recovery Group

This group offers a way to help people to heal from the pain of bereavement.  This is a 13 week group where we hear from Christian grief-recovery experts.  We will hear stories of those who have healed from death of a loved one as well.  Christ offers us hope for healing, come learn how to draw from it.  13 consecutive weeks.

Start date of Saturday January 28th, 2-4PM in Hartland

Financial Peace University

Stop worrying about money, and start your journey to Financial Peace today.  Financial Peace University classes meet for two hours each week for 13 weeks, during which time the average family pays off $5300 in debt and save $2700.  In 13 action-packed lessons, you'll learn how to beat debt, build wealth, find bargains, invest for the future, give like never before, and much more!  This information will change your life.

We have 1 class on Wednesday night, starting the 25th of January, and 2 classes on Thursday night, starting the 26th of January.

Every Man's Battle

the challenge every man faces...the fight every man can win

From the television to the Internet, print media to videos, men are constantly faced with the assault of sensual images. It is impossible to avoid such temptations...but, thankfully, not impossible to rise above them.

Shattering the perception that men are unable to control their thought lives and roving eyes, Every Man's Battle shares the stories of dozens who have escaped the trap of sexual immorality and presents a practical, detailed plan for any man who desires sexual purity-perfect for men who have fallen in the past, those who want to remain strong today, and all who want to overcome temptation in the future.

We will meet 6 consecutive Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 am at the Warehouse (10019 Bergin Rd., Hartland, 48843).

**You will need to read the introduction and chapters 1-3 BEFORE our first meeting (January 7).

Discover Christianity and The River

Starting January 22 for 5 weeks.

In the first week this life group takes a look at what it means to be a follower of Christ.  The second week looks at what the River believes, how it operates and what it looks likes to partner with River.  The third week we dive into why we are called to share our story and invite people to The River, who we are called to share with and how to do it.  The last two weeks focus in on finding out our spiritual gifts, what they mean when we combine them with our SHAPE and how best to use these gifts from God to serve others.  Be encouraged as you take your next step towards Christ on SUNDAY mornings at 10:30 AM starting on January 22nd.
