Why drives you to serve at The River?

Basically I serve because I was prompted by God to respond to a need the River had. Terry had asked me in a Board of Operations meeting if I might be interested in an open position and my immediate response to him was my plate was too full.

Weeks later God prompted me with,’” Why not you?”  I prayed about it and the more I prayed the more it was clear to me that the training, experience and education I had acquired over the years qualified me as a candidate for the Director of Operations position that the River was looking for.  I applied for it and was hired part-time (lol). It's neat to be a part of something that has eternal value and is way bigger than any of us individually and to accomplish the mission and vision of the River and see where it takes all of us.
